Many of the more woo-woo Deadheads had long been vocal about being able to “feel” the band in a metaphysical sense, so in 1971 Jerry Garcia collaborated with researchers Stanley Krippner and Montague Ullman to find out if the claim had any merit to it. This is the story of the Grateful Dead ESP study that followed.
